Cecilie and I baked cupcakes yesterday, and it was actually lots of fun! It was both just green and red vanilla cupcakes, and then blueberry cupcakes, with pink buttercream and pink sugar. They looked so cute, and they tasted just as cute as they look.

Mum decided to bake today, and well – I don’t know how much I helped, but I did help decide the colors of the cupcakes though. I was supposed to help, but I’ve been feeling sick all day, so I didn’t want my “fingers” too much in the cake – didn’t want to make other people sick.

These cupcakes are another batch of vanilla rainbow cupcakes; This time we just used another recipe than we usually do. We’ve also ordered some other food color, so we tried that too. Unfortunately the pictures don’t show the colors that well, because it’s kind of hard to take good pictures here in the evening. Anyway, the cupcakes are green, violet and red, and the buttercream is limegreen and blue.

And yes, they do taste just as good as they look! Mum also made some lime cake – first time ever, so I’m kind of excited to taste that.

As I promised you yesterday, I would show you a picture of the cake I made all by myself. It’s chocolate cake, just as the halloween one, and for the decoration is used royal icing and fondant. It tasted pretty delicious, to be totally honest! It says “Efterår” on it, which is “Autumn” in Danish.

My mom and I have been very creative this evening. We decorated a chocolate cake! She’s going to take it with her to work, so it’s kind of exciting to see what they think about it.

It’s a chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream, and it’s covered in fondant and the spiderweb is made with royal icing. I made a little cake by myself too, but I will show you that one tomorrow!
