In Algarve, we went for a jeepsafari throughout the hills and old cities. It was quite an experience. We tasted almonds just from the tree and had the opportunity to buy fresh fruits from an old lady, selling them by the road. Besides that, we visited an old town called Alte, where went to a café called Agua Mel, where we tasted Algarvian cakes. After that, we were up in the many hills to look at the beautiful view and nature, and then we went to have lunch at a place where all products used were local. Then we went to a farm to taste fig schnaps and all sorts of different marmelade – and lastly, we went back to Alte to go swim in a pool made from a fresh water spring!
