I dag var det første gang jeg forsøgte mig med at lave franske macarons! For at være ærlig, så havde jeg læst meget om hvor svære de var at lave og hvor svært det er at få lige nøjagtig det rigtige macaron look, og jeg troede faktisk ikke at det ville være så svært – men det er det virkelig! Hver lille ting betyder noget når det kommer til macarons. Disse macarons som min mor og jeg lavede i dag, endte med at lave revner i den sprøde skal (sikkert pga. mulige luftbobler inde i dejen) men nogle af dem i den 2. portion endte med at være okay! Vi lavede dem dog også lidt for store, men jeg har ikke tænkt mig at give up! Jeg vil blive ved indtil jeg får dem helt rigtige! De smager alligevel skønt, også selvom udseendet ikke helt er med denne portion. Det er chokolade macarons med hvid chokoladeganache indeni.
Today was the first time trying to make french macarons! Honestly, I’d read a lot about how hard they are to make and how hard they are to get just the right macaron look, and I didn’t think it would be that hard – but it really is! Every little thing counts when making macarons. The macarons my mother and I made today, ended up looking more like whoopie pies than actual macarons. As you can see on the picture, our first batch ended up cracking (probably because of possible airholes in the batter), but some of the second ones ended up pretty good! We made them a bit too big too though, but I’m not gonna give up! I’m gonna try until I get them right! They taste delicious though, even if the look is a bit off on this batch. These are chocolate macarons with white chocolate ganache inside.
The look is less important than the taste imo, so as long as they taste good then they are not a failure 🙂
Haha yeah, I’d just like to do them right sometime too though 😛
